Abstract

The project aims to generate a database on the result of the Avian Population Survey conducted by Bureau of Agricultural Statistics. Survey results show an inventory of bird population up to the barangay level coupled with basic information about native chicken, broiler, layer, gamefowls, quail, ducks, turkeys, pet birds, geese, ostrich and other birds. This database is used to benchmark general avian health and basis for monitoring and maintaining freedom from bird flu virus.
