Abstract

This study generated a 5-region 84 sector input-output (IO) table that will adequately and effectively support the various comprehensive micro-economic studies at the subnational level such as: (i) in-depth inter-industry analyses, whether intra-regional or inter-regional, and (ii) ad-hoc case studies using the IO structural analysis, CGE modeling, and others. In this study, the whole country was divided into 5 regions, namely: National Capital Region, Northern Luzon (covering Northern and Central Luzon,, Southern Luzon covering Southern and Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao.
