Individuals, business and even government are increasingly being aware of the importance to advertise, inform, sell and communicate. The demand for Web-site professionals is unlimited though if it is available, a mark-up professional fee is engaged. The revolution in information technology has radically altered people’s requirement for information - not just on its content but also of its format and speed of delivery. Particularly in the case of statistics, it is envisaged that once information become easily accessible, users at all level will increase, and its importance realized. In order to meet the growing demand, there is a great need for people with technical knowledge do Web-page development.
This course is designed to address the need for creativity enhancement using cutting-edge technology in web publishing and design. Participants will be introduced to Web Studio programs that will help those curves become more shapely, lines straighter, and colors more radiant, and working time shorter. The whole course consists of 3 sub courses, namely: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash.
In Adobe Photoshop, participants will learn to use the tool to touch up and modify existing photos and create their original artwork and graphics.
In JOOMLA, participant will be presented with information on designing web sites. Topics include an introduction to the interface and basic concepts of web design, in addition to procedures for setting up and managing the site, creating pages, create animated web graphics and movies, and inserting basic text, links, and images. The latter part of the series covers advanced topics such as tables and frames, and forms. Finally the series explains how to upload projects and work with templates.
What will participants gain?
At the end of the course, participants should be able to: Design basic web pages; Create various designs for use in web page; and Design and develop web sites to incorporate web page design for statistical information dissemination.
Who can participate?
Participants for this training are personnel who are involved in the preparation of their office webpages. The prospective participants should be proficient in computer operations and basic softwares like MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
