Statistical Report Writing  

 

Statistical Report Writing teaches the mechanics of technical writing as applied to statistics and how these can be crafted to suit a variety of readers, whether statisticians or not. The training will develop planning and organizing skills before writing, improve the presentation of content and form of statistical reports with appropriate tables and graphs using computer software applications.

What will participants gain?

The participants will be able to demonstrate concepts and principles of writing technical reports using appropriate words and well-defined paragraph structure. Basic skills learned here will equip participants with the skills to make technical reports using statistics by creating outlines and abstracts, and communicating these reports effectively in written forms.

Who can participate?

Personnel who wish to refresh, sharpen or enhance technical writing skills and come up with more effective and comprehensive statistical reports that can be read and understood by its public, whether statisticians or non-statisticians.
