This training focuses on computerized data processing involving processing of data collected from the CBMS survey conducted by the LGUs. The training uses 3 freeware (CSPro crosstabs, StatSim and CBMS-NRDB) shared by the CBMS Network Coordinating Team to LGUs.

Course Aim

This training on Database Building provides an orientation on how data are processed and organized into meaningful databases. The participants will be introduced to CBMS StatSim software and crosstab application of CSPro. They will be taught how to properly process the encoded data (using CSPro Crosstabs and CBMS StatSim) and know how to interpret the data results. Importing the processed data into the CBMS Database and producing the thematic maps using CBMS data will also be covered. Moreover, the participants will know how to interpret the generated maps using CBMS-NRDB software.
