Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Module 2: Encoding of Accomplished Questionnaires and Digitizing Maps

 

This training focuses on computerized data processing involving processing of data collected from the CBMS survey conducted by the LGUs. Training on encoding accomplished questionnaires will use the CSPro-based encoding system while digitizing maps use the CBMS-NRDB. The software is shared by the CBMS Network Coordinating Team to LGUs for free.

Course Aim

Shall provide basic knowledge in file management, encoding and database operations. At the end of the course, participants are expected to be familiar with the encoding and digitizing software; learn how to properly encode accomplished HPQ, learn how to recognized inconsistent entries, and be able to trouble shoot errors encountered; know how to digitize shapefiles and manage their own database; and be conscious of matching survey data from questionnaires with map data..

Course Participants

Recommended for data processors at the provincial and/or city/municipal level; CBMS focal persons and/or barangay data processors.
