Focuses on the use of a cost-effective Statistical Software STATA to perform statistical computations and modeling, such as generating tables and descriptive statistics, obtaining results from regression and classical time series models runs, and yielding various statistical graphs and charts. The course involves an analysis of a subset of the 2000 Family Income and Expenditure Survey, conducted by the National Statistics Office.
Course Aim
Be able to use basic and advanced commands of statistical analysis with the software application STATA; perform basic statistical computations and modeling; and generate various statistical graphs and charts.
