Emphasizes how to effectively use of Microsoft Excel in generating statistical reports. Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet application that performs financial calculations, statistical analysis, and other related operations. It is an environment that makes number manipulation easy and somewhat painless. Many researchers and students prefer spreadsheets for keeping track of their data because it is user friendly and easy to learn. The course will provide participants the ability to manage, format, chart and analyze data more effectively using Excel in the generation of statistical reports.

Be able to apply data entry techniques, organize, manage, retrieve data for tabular presentation, analyze data from tables, create graphical objects and charts, compute basic statistical quantities with the use of MS Excel.
